Machine Embroidery Designs

Update 2023/08/05: I now have Floriani’s free software, so I’m able to do one more format-csd). Plus, if the design is too big for the hoop, Floriani’s software automatically splits it.

These are designs I have digitized. The artwork is from various sources, including my Click Art set (20 CDs royalty free images), Design Bundles, Creative Fabrica, and some others. A few are my original designs, and a few are built with designs that came with my embroidery machine and digitizing software. If I have mistakenly put a copyrighted image in the wrong folder and ended up creating a design from it and posting here, let me know and I’ll remove it ASAP.

These designs are free to download and use as long as they remain on this page. If they’re not here, they’re not available. Please do not ask me to create a different format. These are all the formats my digitizing program can create and since this is just hobby for me, I have no intention of acquiring another program.

As I said, it’s just a hobby for me and I am still learning and have a lot to learn. None of my digitizations is 100% machine generated, but I often start with a machine generated design. About 50% of the time I end up redoing it completely. The other 50% varies from a few small tweaks to a few major ones. Everything is done to the best of my ability, but I’m sure nothing is perfect.

I digitize many, many more designs than I sew out and a large portion of those I do sew out are personalized and won’t be available here. (I mean, I suppose I could put a cross stitch of my mom here, but I doubt anyone would appreciate it the way my family does.) I will try to have a photo of any sew-outs I do. Those I haven’t sewn out or for which I have no photo, will have the image generated by the program. I will also verbally indicate which designs I’ve sewn out.

PLEASE TEST ANY DESIGN YOU CHOOSE TO DOWNLOAD!

I DO NOT take any responsibility for any errors or spoiled projects you have. These are free designs. Use due diligence. If you encounter a digitizing problem (hopefully only in a test sew out), I would appreciate a polite note indicating what it is. Pictures may be helpful. I will fix it if I can or remove the design. Also, not required, but if you stitch something out and it turns out well, I’d love to see a photo of the finished item to share so others can see. (If there is adequate response to this, I’ll create a page specifically for posting the photos.)

I will try to preface suffix all my designs with AND (for Airy Nothing Designs).1 I do not claim any artwork as my own, other than what actually is my own, but all the digitizing for all the designs listed here was done by me (or my program). Use them freely. Credit or not as you wish, but do not claim credit for my work. (Even the easy ones took time for me to do.) Do not put them on another website other than as a link to this page. AND DEFINITELY do not sell them as your own work (nor even as mine). Some of the artwork is freely available and may have been digitized by someone else. Support your favorite designers who do this professionally whenever you are able.

1 My program will add the “AND” at the end of the name, so any new or edited designs will have it that way.

Available formats:

If your format is not included, it’s usually because the design is too large for your hoops/machine.
