More fell softly
all around. Rain is sad
because it
reminds me
of life's tears.

Falling, falling, falling
in a downward race.
Raindrops, now you're falling
on the dry earth's face.
When she's had enough of you
and it's time to go,
you will leave behind you
a radiant new rainbow.
Raindrops fall
into the puddle
and rings are formed
in the muddy water.
