Sitting at the Computer (Writing, one would hope.)

I'm dubious of the path before me.
Electric fences close me in
concurrent with taking me out,
escalating the je ne sais pas quois.
Time becomes an interloper
creating a ruckus in my mind,
leaving me with morose
thoughts and emptiness.
