Stitch 29: Barb Stitch

Stitch 29: Barb Stitch

I like this stitch, but it's taking me forever to finish this little rectangle

The sample stitch at the top is Wool-Free Lace by Premier yarns (88% acrylic, 7% PBT and 5% mwtallic), Sea Sunset color. This is nice soft knitting/crocheting yarn that I want a shawl made of.

I made up the design as I went along. I've used perle 8 barb stitch for the branches, both the greens and the browns. I don't remember if this is where I did a lot of colonial knots or if these are french knots. The dark blue and pink wisteria are perle 8. The light blue is 2 strands of floss. I want to add more flowers to the left side, but I don't know when.
